This interaction occured at Henry T's, after our NERO mod at around 1 AM
Me- "Honey, I'm starting to wind down. How much longer do you want to stay?"
Bruce- "Well, shit. I'm winding up."
Me- *sigh* "Okay."
Bruce- (looking up at me from his chair and smiling) "It's better than talking about Hurricane Katrina. I'm grateful for the break."
Now how on earth can I say anything to that? Stupid man... using logic and appealing to me needing to care for him. I kissed him and sat down beside him. I couldn't even muster the energy to even be annoyed that I was tired... because he was getting his well-deserved break from worrying.
It's not fair when he makes sense.
