You also asked me about the phrase "coup d'etat". Literally translated, it means "blow/strike of the state". It's an idiomatic expression (which means that it doesn't make sense when literally translated) for "stroke of policy, against the people". I looked it up for you, even though you woke me up. You're lucky I like you.

I just looked up. Do you see why I won't use it? *shudder* I may have to go home and watch more Thundercats to get that image out of my head.

So, I won't look at the above, I will just think of the Thundercats instead.
